What is the DGVPT?

One league. Eight months. 25+ Events. One Big Finale

The DGV Players Tour is a long-format virtual disc golf league running from February to October, featuring Events and Tournaments hosted by your favorite Community Creators, Spinoff Games and Disc Golf collaborators. Compete against the entire DGV Community, win tons of amazing prizes along the way, and fight to earn your spot in the epic Final Event where we will crown the first ever DGVPT Champion.

The Format

Throughout the year you will play in a variety of different events hosted by Spinoff Games, Community Hosts and collaborations with familiar disc golf brands.

Each event will see players promoted to the Final Event based on placement, with the addition of a Points League advancement exclusively for Community Hosted Events.

Community Events

7 Single Events.

Private Events Hosted nu DGV Community members.

DGVPT Brand Collabs

5 Tournaments (10 events).

Each tournament consists of 2 events with a combined leaderboard.

Spinoff Events

A mix of Single Events and the annual 5-Event 2026 DGV Worlds Tournament.

Each category will have a set amount of qualifying spots based on placement:

For Single Events, the winner will qualify for the Finals.
For Tournaments (multiple events), the top 8 will qualify for the Finals.
For Season 18,19,20,21 & 22, the winner will qualify for the Finals.

Community Events Points League:

This is how the majority of players will qualify. Players will earn points from each individual Community Event based on their place on the leaderboard. These points will accumulate throughout all 7 Community Events until we have a final point standings. The top 200 players in the final points standings will qualify for the DGVPT Finals.

Additional Information

If we discover that you're using more than one account to compete or are using any type of 3rd party software to gain an advantage, you will be disqualified from participating in the DGVPT and risk to be temporary restricted from playing in online game modes like Multiplayer and Events.
Players can not prevent others from qualifying by earning first place in multiple events. In such cases, the qualifying spot goes to the highest place unqualified player(s). This rule also applies to point standings. Ties in qualifying positions result in all tied players qualifying.
Event information, including layouts and bag presets, will be shared publicly at least two weeks before the event starts to give all players a chance to practice. All Events that is part of the DGVPT will be clearly marked as "DGVPT Official Event".
We're working on adding the use of Custom Bags in Practice Mode, in the meantime you can practice for the events with Custom Bags by going to the Play With Friends mode and starting a solo server using your Custom Bag of choice.
All Community Events will be Private Events. Each Community Host will have their own Event Hub for each event that includes all of the event information. You will be notified in-game when they are live, and there will be links to each hub availible in-game and on discgolfvalley.se
Always make sure that you have a good internet connection before playing events.
All DGVPT Events that advances you to the Final Event will be free to play.
In-game Prizes for each individual event will be sent to your gift inbox within a few days once the event has ended.
Additional Prize Pools and other ways to compete for prizes during the Players Tour will be announced later. Details and Prizes for the Final Event in October, along with additional bonus content during that time, is still being worked on. You certainly don't want to miss it whether you're qualified or not!
