Access the Course Creator by selecting Play on the home screen, then navigate to Single ➜ Custom Courses ➜ My Course ➜ Create New Course.
Use the 2D window on the right to design your course, and see your edits take shape in real time in the 3D window on the left.
Pinch to zoom in or out in the 2D window to get a better view if needed. In the 3D window just use you finger to turn the view.
When making a change or adding something to the drawing area, it will take 3sec for it to update in the 3D space.
Here you’ll find all the tools you need to bring your Custom Course to life.
Props – Add props such as stones, trees, and other decorative items to your course. When marking a prop you can rotate it to position it the way you want.
Delete a prop by marking it and dragging it outside the 2D window. The teepad and the basket cannot be deleted as they are required for every course.
Height – Use the height brushes to shape the terrain. The more you paint, the higher the elevation becomes. This is shown by an increasingly vivid red color as the height intensifies.
Fairway – The green fairway brush adds playable fairway areas to your course. When you start building, a section of fairway is already painted as a guide.
Water – Use the blue water brush to add lakes, ponds, or other water features to your course.
All brushes include an eraser tool that lets you remove painted areas if needed.
Holes – Add or remove holes, adjust wind strength, and set the terrain size.
Clear Hole – Removes all painted height, fairway, and water, as well as all placed props and terrain objects.
Settings – Change your course theme, name, and description. You can also take a snapshot for your course card, which appears in the Course Browser.
Play – Playtest your course to see how it looks and feels as you build.
The menu allows you to save your current progress, delete the course, or publish it. You can also choose to publish the course later through My Courses.
There is a tag on the course card that indicates if the course is published or not.
To publish or unpublish you can click on you course card and choose an action from the fold out menu to the right inside the pop up.
You can also choose to delete the course from here.
